Why Mile High Cyber?

As we were thinking about a name for our new company, the leadership team had a few goals. First, we wanted a name that was descriptive. The name had to give the hearer an idea of what we do in the common vernacular--no industry experience or specialized knowledge required. Second, we wanted a name that was memorable. How can potential clients contact you if they can't remember your name or know what to search for on the internet? Finally, and this is a very practical consideration, we wanted to be able to secure the ".com" domain name without any dashes or modifiers (think of a domain name like my-e-companyname-etc.com).

So why did we settle on Mile High Cyber? Mile High Cyber not only tells what we do but where we are:

• Mile High - headquartered in Colorado (5280+ feet above sea level)

• Cyber - relating to, or involving computers or computer networks (https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/cyber) 

Mile High. We live and work in Colorado. That's part of our corporate culture. We don't live to work, we work to live--and live in one of the most beautiful and happy places in the world. Also, being based in Colorado, we're also able to offer our services at more affordable prices than larger companies based in high-cost areas like Silicon Valley or the D.C. area.

Cyber. We're computer geeks--we live and breathe this stuff. Our main focus is currently cybersecurity, but we see future service offerings beyond that pure-play cybersecurity. Our leadership team has broad technical experience, so we plan to bring increasing amounts of automation to bear on our service offerings and much more! Stay tuned.
